I just want everyone to know, and yes you spamers too. I will remove/ban anyone I find as a spammer. If there is a person that is on the site that you do not know in game or know that they are here for good reason, do not click any of the info they post or in the persons info.
Those of us who can, work very hard to keep the spamers off our site and we will keep doing it until there is a way to stop them. We love to have the people here that want to be here and enjoy talking to us and hanging with us and we will do all we can to make it a pleasent stay :)

Don't suppose it would be possible to add a few more people to the moderators group for the Public forum just so the spam posts can be deleted more quickly?

For those of us on Spam Deletion, there's been a new type recently - looks like a perfectly innocent "Oooh, this looks like a nice place and I'm so pleased to meet you all." Within the message is what looks like a sentence that's a link, but every single letter links somewhere. It's some kind of search engine optimisation attempt (AFAIK) and it ~is~ spam

We definitely need something like that... or some kind of anti-bot test on the sign up page (I'm convinced most of these if not all are bots...) Or I think somebody suggested a very simple Anarchy Online based question?

Shouldn't be a problem to pick out genuine applications anyway as they'll most likely be people we've heard of - it's not like this site gets random passing trade right now...
