The wonderful thing about Dancers, is Dancers are wonderful things! There tops are so made for huggles, their bottoms are "covered" by strings! They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! But the most wonderful thing about Dancers: I'm not the only one! The wonderful thing about Dancers, Is Dancers look marvelous in chaps! They're loaded with vim and vigor, they just might dance in your laps! They're fancy, trancey, prancey, dancey, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! But the most wonderful thing about Dancers: I'm not the only one! Dancers are cuddly people, Dancers are awfully sweet Ev'ryone el-us is jealous, That's why I repeat... The wonderful thing about Dancers, is Dancers are wonderful things! Yay! Glad you like it! It's been buzzing around my head for a while now and there were a couple turns of phrase I wasn't sure of. Some of the alternatives I was considering were 1) "their bottoms are made out of springs", as in bouncy like Tigger, rather than the reference to thongs I went with there. I mean... we don't /always/ wear thongs.... 2) Similarly, I considered alternatives to "marvelous in chaps" because we rarely wear that one pair of chaps FC gave us, but since the original is "Tiggers are marvelous chaps" this was just too cute. 3) Again for accuracy, I tried to find something that fit better than "they just might dance in your laps", since we don't actually do that, but I have to admit, the notion that we just might is part of the fun. 2 and 3 rhyme, so changing both might be easier than just one. Those three points I pondered for a while, but the rest just kind of fell into place. So if anyone has a suggestion to tweak those details, go ahead and speak up. Otherwise, I'm gonna write us a little script for that. |
